Subject: Is it just me, or is the "SLB" rebrand just a mask for the same old game of musical chairs?

I’ve been sitting here staring at the latest memo from the division office. You know the one—lots of buzzwords about "agile alignment" and "digital transformation," but absolutely zero substance on how my specific field team is actually supposed to operate come Q3. It feels like we’re constantly shifting the org chart, shuffling reporting lines between Houston and the regional hubs, yet the actual flow of info remains a black hole. I’ll be honest: it’s exhausting trying to navigate a restructure that feels like it’s being piloted by a ghost ship. You wait for a town hall to clear the fog, and you just end up with more questions about where the budget—and our sanity—is actually going. That said, I’m not throwing in the towel yet. Beneath the corporate static, the core tech we’re pushing actually works. When the noise dies down and we’re back on the rig or the platform, we’re still the best at what we do. I just hope the leadership realizes that if they want us to keep building the future, they need to stop hiding it behind a curtain. I’m choosing to hold out, but my patience is definitely on a shorter leash than it was last fiscal.
