The cult of the leather jacket is starting to feel like a pyramid scheme

We’re currently living in the "Everything is a Priority" paradox. It’s fascinating, really—watching the Org Chart resemble a game of Jenga where the pieces are glued together by nothing but sheer stock price adrenaline. Jensen drops a vague keynote about "sovereign AI" or some nebulous hardware ecosystem, and suddenly we’re all pivoting the entire roadmap three degrees to the left by Monday morning. There’s no accountability, just a frantic, performative scramble to align with the latest visionary utterance. If a project stalls? It’s a "strategic realignment." If the middle management layer is suffocating under the sheer weight of internal silos? Just add more cross-functional syncs. We’re treated like the engine room of a rocket ship being piloted by people who only look at the flight path, never the fuel gauge. The sheer arrogance of assuming we can outrun the inevitable technical debt is… well, it’s certainly a bold strategy. I’m just here for the vestment schedule, waiting for the inevitable gravity check.
