I’m sitting here staring at another "Strategic Alignment" slide deck that reads like a fan-fiction novel written by someone who hasn’t stepped foot in a lab or a manufacturing site in a decade. How are we pretending the current pipeline strategy is sustainable? We’re cannibalizing our own R&D focus to chase short-term optics, burning through the talent that actually keeps the lights on, all while the people in the top-floor offices treat our primary assets like line items on a spreadsheet they’re trying to inflate for an exit. There’s zero accountability for the disastrous pivots we’ve made over the last 18 months. When the numbers miss, it’s "operational friction." When a project implodes, it’s "realigned priorities." It’s gaslighting, plain and simple. We’re bleeding institutional knowledge because the leadership team is too busy playing musical chairs with executive titles to notice the culture is rotting from the top down. Do better, or just admit you’re steering us into a cliff for the stock buybacks.
