Is anyone else watching the ship steer directly into the iceberg while the bridge claims we're winning?

I’m sitting here looking at another round of “strategic alignment” directives that feel like they were drafted by an algorithm fed on 2005 business textbooks. How many times are we going to pivot our go-to-market strategy before someone admits the core product is bleeding? Every time we lose subscribers or the stock dips, leadership doubles down on the same top-heavy restructuring that just creates more layers of middle management. We’re being told to “do more with less,” which apparently translates to burying us in bureaucracy while the actual tools we need to support customers are held together by digital duct tape. The disconnect between the C-suite’s quarterly earnings spin and the reality of the front-line experience is insulting. They aren't just disconnected; they’re operating in a different reality. Stop asking us for “innovation” when you’ve gutted the teams capable of actually building anything. We’re tired of the gaslighting.
