The "Align Shuffle" has become our unofficial internal architecture.

I’ve been tracking our QBR cycles against the frequency of "restructuring events," and the math is starting to look less like a strategic pivot and more like a recurring quarterly tax. We’re currently operating in a state of permanent volatility where the Org Chart is essentially written in pencil. For a company built on the precision of digital dentistry, our internal stability is remarkably imprecise. There’s a distinct psychological tax to working on long-term product roadmaps when the headcount supporting those initiatives is subject to sudden, algorithmic pruning. It’s hard to iterate on complex software or clinical workflows when you’re constantly checking the Slack directory to see who’s still active. We aren't just adjusting to market headwinds; we’ve institutionalized a culture of transient employment. When the strategy shifts every six months, institutional knowledge becomes a liability rather than an asset. Are we actually scaling, or just churning?
