The “Matrix” is just a fancy word for nobody being in charge while everyone holds a knife.

I’m tired of the performative agility. We’re supposedly “product-led,” yet every single feature launch requires a blood sacrifice to three different cross-functional leads who don’t even talk to each other. The matrix structure here is a total farce. I spent four hours in syncs yesterday just trying to figure out which VP holds the actual veto power over a basic UI tweak. We’re drowning in “alignment” meetings, yet nothing moves. You’ve got the functional managers pulling us one way and the product leads pulling us another, and the result is a Frankenstein roadmap that pleases no one and fixes nothing for the host community. It’s all political theater. Everyone is too busy protecting their headcounts and managing “stakeholders” to actually build. If I have to explain the same logic to a third "owner" who just joined the chain of command, I’m out. We’re not a tech company anymore; we’re a bureaucracy masquerading in hoodies. Stop the madness.
